On Sunday 22 February 2026 at 21.15, the Teatro Cinema Astra will host "EVA. Diario di una Costola", written and performed by Rita Pelusio together with violinist Marta Pistocchi, directed by Marco Rampoldi and produced by PEM Habitat Teatrali.

Inspired by the famous episode from Genesis, the show starts from a question that is as ancient as it is topical: why did Eve choose to eat the fruit of knowledge, renouncing Paradise? From here a theatrical tale takes shape that becomes a eulogy of female disobedience.

Eve is a voice that reflects, that questions, that names the world in order to understand it. She is a voice that is not satisfied, that remains suspended between doubt and desire, and that looks at the fate of the women who came after her. Her questions are answered by contemporary female figures, born from Rita Pelusio's irreverent imagination, in a weave of irony, depth and topicality.

The result is a monologue that is delicate and ruthless at the same time, authentic and comical, crossed and enveloped by the sounds of Marta Pistocchi's violin, which accompanies and amplifies emotions and words.

And then there are the apples. Lots of apples.
